1986 Mini Mayfair Cooper 1300 Prototype Registration Number: C734 SWV Prototype chassis number: 01130088 VIN/Chassis Number: SAXXL2S1N20310810 Engine Number: 12HC14AA121693 ONLY 2550 MILES FROM NEW. This car is the first 1300 prototype made by John Cooper Garages Ltd.

The car had its standard 1000cc engine and gearbox removed and an MG 1300 engine and gearbox fitted.

The cylinder head has been ported and gas flowed with an increase to compression ratio.

New valves have been fitted, inlet 35mm and exhaust 29mm.

Twin 1.5 Su Carburettors have also been fitted along with a special three branch exhaust system. Due to the high summer temperatures in Japan the car is also fitted with a specially made water radiator. Other features include oil cooler, brake servo, alloy wheels and John Cooper decals.
