Common Gameplay & Technical Issues

Invalid Roster Glitch
Some players get an "invalid roster" error even when they have the right players.
Fix: Go to View and Edit Roster, open Squad Options, and select Generate Best Squad. This usually resets the requirements and lets you start the game.

Wins Counting as Losses
In modes like Team Affinity or World Baseball Classic (WBC), a win may register as a loss. Unfortunately, there’s no guaranteed fix if it’s already recorded, but restarting the game before the next matchup can help prevent repeat issues.

Infinite Seasons & Progression Stalls
Sometimes the regular season doesn’t end, forcing you to play extra games (like game 30 of a 28-game season) without advancing to playoffs. Restarting the Mini Season is usually the only way to reset progress.

Server Exceptions
Many players see "unhandled server exceptions" when entering Mini Seasons, especially Classic mode. These are often server-side issues and may require a game update or a manual season restart.

Missing Rewards
Winning championships or hitting milestones may fail to give packs or other rewards. Always check your inventory after completing a Mini Season, and if rewards are missing, restarting the season or replaying the last game can sometimes trigger them.

Visual & Objective Tracking Bugs

Incorrect Seasonal Length Display
The UI may show a 28-game season in WBC mode, but the actual season might be shorter, like 7 games. Don’t rely solely on the on-screen counter.

Stuck on Season Overview
Some players can’t exit the "End of Season Overview" screen without force-closing the game (dashboarding). Restarting the console or switching profiles may help.

Inaccurate Mission Tracking
Goals like "Win 11 games on All-Star difficulty" may not track correctly, showing fewer wins than you actually earned. Keep screenshots if you need proof for rewards issues.

Incorrect Team Logos/Jerseys
Opponents in WBC mode sometimes appear with wrong logos, names, or rosters. This is mostly visual and doesn’t affect gameplay.

SDS has released updates aimed at fixing these issues:

Game Update 2: Improved UI stability and corrected goal descriptions after reaching playoffs.
Game Update 6: Fixed a server exception when entering Classic Mini Seasons and corrected Captain assignments.
Hotfixes (Mid-April): Targeted roster-related bugs, though some players still report issues.
Current Workarounds

If you’re stuck in a bugged state, the most reliable workaround is to restart the Mini Season manually. This resets your progress but usually clears progression blockers, roster glitches, and server errors.
