Find the shipping notes in the Spaceport and then the scanners to play A Lay of the Land.

A Lay of the Land in arc raiders blueprints requires you to find the LiDAR scanner in two stages: find the shipping note to determine where it was sent and then use the clues in the notes to find the scanners. Spaceport can be one of Arc Raiders’ most challenging maps due to the large sightlines. This makes it easier for robots and players alike to detect you. I'll tell you how to get to the place you want to be.

Lay of the Land Walkthrough and Guide

Three steps are required to successfully complete A Lay of the Land on the Spaceport Map.

Find the Shipping notes in Jiangsu Warehouse. It is located at the North of the map. You can find the shipping notes in the warehouse on the north side of Jiangsu. The desk should have an option for "collecting notes".

Find the scanners in the upper floor Control Tower A6. It is located southeast of the Launch Towers. Enter the east of the building (shown above), and then go up the steps behind the statue. Continue to the second floor and continue following the South wall. You will eventually find boxes next to some office dividers. You can interact with them to obtain the LiDAR and add it into your inventory.

Then you must successfully remove the LiDAR scanner. However, if you don't have a free loadout for Arc Raiders, you can simply put the scanner in your Safe Pocket to ensure you will be able to complete the mission regardless of what happens.

It is possible to die if you sprint across the map. It's even more important to do this when you get to the Control Tower. The high loot areas are likely a hub of activity. You can find helpful advice about how to avoid getting attacked in our arc raiders coins tip.

Arc Raiders 1.3 update has been released with a number of unsurprising bug fixes. These include nerfs for the Venator, tuning of some Arc Raiders weapons, which had been destroying the high-level Arcs, and a scattering of tweaks that seem to have left the most popular exploit (barring Dam Control Tower), to open locked rooms, largely intact. Other things are still the same: building a loadout can be a bit fiddly and there is no consensus on whether the amount of weapons is just right or not.

The smoldering discussion about the current state of the stash was reignited in the wake of update version 1.3. This has drastically altered strategies for defeating powerful Arc. Arc Raiders' balance is based on a cycle where players acquire, spend, and lose resources. It would be possible to break this cycle by giving players a virtually infinite amount of storage or inventory. This could also remove the tension from the game's economy, allow ridiculous loadouts and/or burden players with an overwhelming urge to collect everything. The gap between functionally unlimited and the small space we currently have is a source of heated debate.

I've kept tabs on Arc Raiders players in places like Discord, Reddit and YouTube and it seems like the discussions about stash can be broken down into two main categories: the size of the stash and the level of intuitiveness. The debate over the size of the stash is raging, while the other side has settled for a more intuitive approach.

Saving one-click loads would be a huge improvement over the complex process of creating bags and shields as well mods, ammunition, healing items and throwables. It's not just me who occasionally uses a pre-made loadout, simply because I lack the patience to create a full kit.

It's not like I see anyone arguing against that. A statement like "We need more storage space, or higher stack limits for items" would be a better choice. These are some tough words in Speranza.

Downtownklownfrown, a user with a delightfully named username, responded to a post about inventory management by saying that "even if I craft things to take to future raids I usually lose more stash rooms trying to prepare them to take". In a separate comment, which beat out the 1.3 post it was responding to, "increasing your stack size will go a great way," says another user.
